Elevating Dock Scissor Lifts
Elevating Dock Scissor Lifts are hydraulically actuated platforms that facilitate efficient movement of freight between floor level and truck deck.
If a building isn’t equipped with a loading dock, an Elevating Dock is the solution for receiving or dispatching goods by truck. The scissor lift is mounted in a shallow recessed pit so the platform is flush with the floor when fully lowered, facilitating transfer of goods at floor level and cross traffic. The scissor lift is raised to truck height to transfer goods between the platform and truck.
Scissor lifts may also be installed recessed into loading docks similar to a dock leveler (mechanised ramp) to handle heavy, specialized or delicate items that should be kept level for ease of handling.
Handrails, gates, interlocked controls, foot shear safety bar, load lip and roller blinds are included as appropriate to support a safe and efficient working environment. We have a range of standard models and we build scissor lifts specific to customer requirements.
